Abigail Okeh Founder & Administrator
Citadel Community Health Services (CCHS) was born in 2019 out of a deeply personal journey. Abigail Okeh witnessed firsthand the emotional and physical toll caregiving took on her grandmother, who cared for her terminally ill husband. That experience opened Abigail's eyes to the overwhelming challenges many families face when caring for loved ones, often without adequate support.
Determined to make a difference, she launched CCHS to provide compassionate, dignified, and dependable care. As she became more involved in Georgia's developmental disability community, Abigail saw that families supporting loved ones with IDD faced even greater complexity, from navigating waiver systems to finding trustworthy providers. This insight expanded the agency's mission—not just to fill a gap, but to raise the standard of care.
Abigail holds an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Florida International University. Before founding CCHS, she built a diverse career in IT Security, Project Management, and Business Analytics, working in sectors including banking, healthcare, and software.
She brings a rare combination of heart and operational discipline to her work—leading CCHS with a deep commitment to person-centered care, family collaboration, and clinical excellence.
